STOREKEEPER / ASSISTANT STOREKEEPER

REQUIREMENTS
- G.C.E. Advanced Level qualification or equivalent
- Certificate / Diploma in Store Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field will be an added advantage
- Minimum 1–4 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or a similar role
- Knowledge of inventory management and storekeeping procedures
- Ability to maintain accurate stock records and documentation
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (ERP/SAP knowledge will be an added advantage)
- Good organizational, analytical, and record-keeping skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English and Sinhala; Tamil will be an added advantage
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive, inspect, store, and issue materials and supplies efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of stock receipts, issues, balances, and inventory movements
- Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, delivery notes, and GRNs
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages, damaged items, and discrepancies
- Conduct regular stock counts and inventory reconciliations
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and preservation of materials
- Prepare stock reports, inventory records, and store-related documentation
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and operational teams to ensure smooth material flow
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization within the store premises
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and store management procedures
- Support overall store operations and administrative activities as required
