Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate in product development initiatives to evaluate new styles, assess manufacturing requirements, and provide Industrial Engineering inputs for feasibility and efficiency improvements.
- Perform accurate calculations of key costing parameters, including SMV, thread consumption, and other technical measurements required during product development and costing processes.
- Participate in pre-production meetings to communicate technical specifications of new styles to plant IE teams, facilitate smooth implementation, and coordinate with production teams to achieve targeted efficiency levels
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors’ Degree / Diploma in Industrial Engineering/ Clothing Technology with GSD Licence.
- Professional qualifications in Industrial Engineering or Lean Manufacturing will be an added advantage.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience
- Experience in the apparel/manufacturing industry preferred.
- Knowledge of garment costing, SMV calculation, and production planning.
- Good analytical skills
- Good communication skills
