Post of Documentation Executive – Feeder Division

Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibility of preparing inward discharge list (TDR) for vessels calling Port of Colombo and disseminating the EDI to the relevant local authorities, in time.
  • Familiarization in Sri Lanka Customs’ online portals (ASYCUDA & ASYHUB).
  • Preparation of Outward loading list for partner vessels.
  • Post sailing document preparation and related correspondence to Principal and next port agents.
  • Maintain proper records of all shipping documentation activities.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in the Shipping Ops and/or Docs department in the Feeder division.
  • Strong understanding of Shipping and Sri Lanka Customs regulations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent team player who is willing to meet challenges.
