Vacancy for Facility Engineer
Facilities Management Integrated (FMI) is a subsidiary of Abans Group of Companies. FMI is a well established and Leading Facilities Management Company, Providing wide range of services to Residential and Commercial Buildings across the Country. We are looking to recruit a dynamic, experienced, and highly competent individual to manage MEP Operations of a prestigious Residential Condominium Property.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage and supervise MEP maintenance operations of the Condominium Property
- Ensure the smooth operation of HVAC, Electrical Systems, Lifts, Generators, UPS, Plumbing, Fire Protection, CCTV, and Access Control Systems
- Plan and implement Preventive Maintenance Programs to maximize asset reliability
- Coordinate and supervise Technicians, Contractors, and Service Providers
- Supervising Projects to ensure compliance with engineering designs, drawings and conforming to specifications
- Assist in project execution, fit-out works, refurbishments, testing, and commissioning activities
- Ensure that MEP subcontractors provide and adhere to relevant contract terms and complete jobs in time while maintaining quality documentation/records
- Validating design issues related to MEP and suggest alternative solutions
- Prepare Technical Reports, Vendor Evaluations, Maintenance Records, Budgets, and Cost Estimates
- Ensure compliance with Safety Standards, Engineering Best Practices, and Company Standard Operating Procedures
Experience and Skills
- BSc, NDT, NDES, or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of MEP Engineering Experience (preferably in Building Maintenance/Facilities Management Sector)
- Sound knowledge of HVAC Systems, Electrical Installations, Generators, UPS Systems, and Building Services
- Fluency in Written and Spoken English is a must
- MS Office and AUTOCAD Proficiency
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Strong leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in supervising technical teams and contractors will be an added advantage
- The candidate should be a team player with a “Can do attitude” who is capable of working long hours under pressure
- Must hold a valid Driving License
- Age below 50 years
