EL - TORO Roofing Products Limited set up its state-of-the-art production facility in Chilaw. The following vacancy exist at our factory for suitable qualified & experienced personnel to take over the responsibilities as Civil Engineering Team member.
Supervisor Civil - Chilaw
Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise all civil maintenance and construction tasks within the factory, including infrastructure repairs, renovations, new installations and house keeping.
- Oversee the daily activities of the civil work team, ensuring effective utilization of labor, materials, and equipment.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal departments to meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Conduct routine inspections and quality checks of ongoing work to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
- Manage resource allocation, including manpower scheduling and material procurement, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the factory.
- Provide technical guidance to the team and resolve on-site issues or challenges efficiently.
- Assist in project planning and cost estimation for factory civil works.
- Maintain accurate records of materials used, labor hours, and completed tasks for reporting purposes.
Requirements
- Preferably between the ages of 22 – 35 years.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in civil supervision, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Diploma or NVQ Level 4/5 in Civil Engineering or Construction Technology.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Strong communication skills and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting civil drawings and construction plans.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, project management software & MS Office applications.
