MANAGER – DYE HOUSE | TO BE BASED IN INDONESIA
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Manager – Dye House. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated professional with a passion for excellence in Dyeing & Finishing. Key Responsibilities :
- Manage the Dyehouse department, ensure operational efficiency and adherence to environmental regulations.
- Ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality standards, implement and maintain quality control procedures.
- Manage dyeing processes, including colour matching and shade development.
- Ability to plan and optimize resource utilization of chemicals, water, electricity and steam.
- Ability to maintain and order required Dye stuffs and the auxiliaries (chemicals) keeping the minimum stock level.
- Experience of Nylon and Polyester dyeing process will be an added advantage.
- Ensure compliance of safety regulations on the operation floor and build a conducive work environment for all the employees.
- Develop skills and competencies of the Dye House team and nurture a strong bench-strength
- Lead and motivate the team to ensure consistent achievement of the predetermined KPIs of the department.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production flow.
- Adopt and implement the Lean Principles to drive a results-driven culture that is cost conscious and efficient.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A degree in textile engineering, chemistry, or similar qualifications.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on experience in Dye House and at least 03 years in a managerial position.
- Overseas exposure will be an added advantage.
- A strong understanding of dyeing processes, equipment and chemicals.
- Experience of Nylon and Polyester Dyeing process will be an added Advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of dyeing techniques, colour matching, and fabric finishing.
- A good understanding of the quality control standards and testing procedures.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and safety protocols.
