BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
WAREHOUSE & 3PL SOLUTIONS
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute business development strategies to grow the company's warehouse management and 3PL business portfolio.
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities across key industry sectors including FMCG, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, telecommunications, and e-commerce.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, decision-makers, and industry stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver compelling logistics solutions proposals, presentations, and commercial quotations.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer needs assessments to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with operations teams to design customized warehousing and supply chain solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and ensure profitable contract acquisition.
- Achieve revenue, profitability, and customer acquisition targets as agreed by management.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide accurate business forecasts and reports.
- Represent the company at industry events, networking forums, and business development initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree or Professional Qualification in Marketing, Business Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, key account management, or logistics solutions selling.
- Proven track record in acquiring and managing corporate accounts.
- Experience in warehouse solutions, contract logistics, supply chain management, or 3PL operations will be a distinct advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong commercial acumen with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work independently and achieve ambitious growth targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
