Senior Executive - Health & Safety
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Factories Ordinance of Sri Lanka and all relevant safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare reports and corrective action plans.
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training programs for employees.
- Maintain safety records, permits, and statutory documentation.
- Coordinate with management, supervisors, and external authorities on HSE matters.
- Promote a strong safety culture across all levels of the organization.
Candidate Profile
- Diploma or Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar role within a factory or manufacturing environment.
- Sound knowledge of Sri Lankan health and safety laws and standards.
- Strong communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle emergency situations effectively.
- Age below 40 years
