Product Safety Officer - Pelmadulla
Job Role
- Ensure compliance with product safety standards, legal requirements, and company policies.
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard analysis on products and processes.
- Monitor and review safety performance of products throughout the production cycle.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality assurance teams to address safety concerns.
- Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions related to product safety issues.
- Provide training and awareness programs for employees on product safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate safety documentation, reports, and compliance records.
- Act as the liaison with external regulatory bodies on product safety matters.
Individual Profile
- Degree/Diploma in Science, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in product safety, compliance, or quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of safety standards, regulations, and testing procedures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
