SALES MANAGER (HORECA & SMMT Channels)

We are a well-established food manufacturing company seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to join our HORECA Division (Hotels, Restaurants, and Cafés) & SMMT Channel.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about food products, customer relationships, and achieving sales growth within the hospitality sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with hotels, restaurants, cafés, catering companies, institutional buyers & Supermarkets and Modern Trade Outlets.
  • Promote and sell the company’s food product range to HORECA & SMMT customers.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and ensure timely collection of payments.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, deliveries, and after-sales support.
  • Conduct product sampling, promotions, and trade visits to increase market penetration.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of sales experience in the food industry or HORECA sector.
  • Good knowledge of food service operations and purchasing patterns in HORECA.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
  • Valid riding license and willingness to travel.
  • Fluency in English and Sinhala (Tamil will be an added advantage).
