General Manager/ Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Position Overview

The General Manager / Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for leading the overall operations, business performance, and strategic growth of the company, including construction, manufacturing, fit-out projects, procurement, commercial management, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Lead the day-to-day operations of the construction, manufacturing, aluminium joinery, and fit-out divisions, ensuring efficient project delivery, quality, safety, and operational performance.
  • Commercial & Financial Management: Lead the company's commercial operations, including tendering, contracts, procurement, cost control, and financial performance to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Strategic Planning & Business Growth: Support the company's strategic growth by driving business development, operational improvements, innovation, and market expansion opportunities.
  • Client, Stakeholder & Regulatory Engagement: Maintain stakeholder relationships and ensure effective representation of the company while upholding all regulatory, environmental, and compliance requirements.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 10+ years senior leadership experience in construction, manufacturing, aluminum fabrication, or fit-out industries.
  • Proven track record in operations management, commercial leadership, and project delivery.
  • Strong understanding of contracts, tenders, procurement, and financial management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage complex projects.
  • Experience in ISO-certified environments or quality-driven manufacturing operations is an advantage.
