John Keells Properties leads the charge on the property development and real estate sector in Sri Lanka, with a significant portfolio of real estate in Colombo and the suburbs.
Property Sector of John Keells Group require the services of an Executive – Information Technology to oversee IT operations, systems, vendors, and infrastructure while ensuring security, compliance, and effective technology support.
Job Profile
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing user access, software licensing, vendor relationships, service agreements, and technology-related procurement activities.
- Monitoring IT systems, security, compliance, and operational governance activities while ensuring adherence to Group IT policies and best practices.
- Coordinating with internal teams, Group IT, vendors, ISPs, and third-party service providers to ensure seamless IT operations and project delivery.
- Leading and supporting infrastructure upgrades, network architecture enhancements, system deployments, and technology rollout initiatives across the Property Group.
- Conducting system and network health checks, identifying risks, and driving continuous improvements to maintain a reliable and future-ready IT environment.
- Engaging with business teams to understand technology requirements and proposing effective IT solutions.
- Supporting business expansion initiatives through scalable infrastructure, network, and technology solutions.
- Delivering user training and guidance to support the adoption of new technologies, applications, and governance processes.

Personal Profile
- Possessing professional certifications in Networking, Cloud, Infrastructure, Security, or IT Service Management (CCNA, CCNP, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, ITIL) will be a distinct advantage.
- Demonstrating 3–4 years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure support, network management, or enterprise technology support.
- Possessing prior experience in managing technical operations, vendor relationships, infrastructure projects, or technology rollouts will be advantageous.
- Possessing sound knowledge of IT security, compliance requirements, and operational governance practices.
