Vacancy in the Access Management Unit

The Access Management Associate will be responsible for ensuring the secure, accurate, and timely provisioning, modification, review, and de-provisioning of user access rights across the Company’s systems and applications. The role also supports access governance, maintains access control documentation and matrices, facilitates audit requirements, and contributes to automation and continuous improvement initiatives within the Access Management Unit.

Role Profile

The Access Management Associate will be responsible for ensuring the secure, accurate, and timely provisioning, modification, review, and de-provisioning of user access rights across the Company’s systems and applications. The role also supports access governance, maintains access control documentation and matrices, facilitates audit requirements, and contributes to automation and continuous improvement initiatives within the Access Management Unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process user access requests, modifications, and revocations in accordance with approved policies, procedures, internal circulars, and regulatory requirements.
  • Administer user accounts and access privileges across the Company’s systems and applications.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of user access requests, approvals, and changes.
  • Enforce Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) principles and ensure compliance with approved access matrices.
  • Review and monitor privileged access assignments to ensure adherence to internal policies and security standards.
  • Assist in conducting periodic user access reviews and recertification exercises.
  • Support internal, external, and regulatory audits by providing the required documentation and evidence.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously enhance departmental access matrices.
  • Coordinate with business units to standardize and rationalize user access requirements.
  • Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process manuals, and operational guidelines.
  • Maintain comprehensive process documentation relating to access management activities.
  • Support automation initiatives relating to access request processing, reporting, and monitoring.
  • Participate in projects involving Identity and Access Management (IAM) enhancements and process improvements.

Candidate Profile

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline from a recognized university, or 2–3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with information security standards, access control concepts, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Exposure to audit and compliance processes will be an added advantage.
  • Strong documentation, analytical, and process mapping skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of workflow automation tools and access management solutions will be an added advantage.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work collaboratively across business functions.
