DRAFTSPERSON
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Interior Draftsperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed interior drawings, technical documentation, and coordinating with designers and project teams to ensure accurate execution of interior fit-out projects.
JOB ROLE
- Prepare detailed interior shop drawings, layout plans, and technical drawings based on design concepts.
- Develop 2D and 3D drawings for interior spaces including furniture layouts, ceiling plans, and joinery details.
- Translate design concepts into accurate working drawings and construction documentation.
- Coordinate with interior designers, project managers, and contractors.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, building regulations, and standards.
- Revise drawings based on feedback and project requirements.
- Assist in preparing material specifications and technical details.
- Maintain organized records of drawings and project documentation.
- Support the project team during design development and construction phases.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Diploma / Degree in Drafting, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in interior drafting, preferably in interior fit-out projects.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
- Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or other 3D visualization software is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of joinery details, ceiling layouts, furniture drawings, and construction documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail and technical accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience in commercial, residential, or hospitality interior projects.
- Good understanding of materials, finishes, and interior construction methods.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
