Finance Lead
The Centre Church is seeking a trustworthy and competent individual to serve as Finance Lead, overseeing the church's financial operations with integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and cash flow management
- Handle day-to-day payment approvals
- Ensure compliance with audit, tax, EPF/ETF, and statutory requirements
- Supervise bookkeeping, payroll, reconciliations, and financial processes
- Maintain transparent and accurate financial records and systems
- Support leadership and the Board with financial insights and governance alignment
- Ensure accountability and proper stewardship of church finances
- Provide leadership and oversight to finance personnel and/or volunteers
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Relevant qualifications in finance, accounting, or related fields, ideally with a professional accounting qualification (part or fully qualified)
- Prior experience in finance, accounting, or financial administration, especially with budget, reporting, compliance, and audit tasks
- Strong organizational, analytical, and administrative skills
