Senior Executive – HR & Administration (Head Office)
Berendina is a group of companies consisting of Berendina Micro Investments Company Limited (BMIC) the first license microfinance company (LMFC) regulated by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, under the Microfinance Act No 06 of 2016 and Berendina Development Services (Gte) Limited (BDS) a leading development organization committed towards alleviating poverty among vulnerable and marginalized communities of rural and plantation areas in Sri Lanka. Berendina group operates in 13 districts through a network of 38 branch offices.
Requirements
- A Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university or institution.
- Around 2-4 years of hands-on experience in a similar or executive-level capacity covering the scope outlined above.
- Proficiency in MS Office with a strong aptitude for technology and software applications
- Strong skills in managing databases and spreadsheets, with exceptional recordkeeping and reporting abilities.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- A team player with excellent interpersonal skills, strong values, and leadership qualities.
- High attention to detail, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
Scope of Work
- Coordinate employee engagement activities in the Head Office and the Branch level.
- Manage the vehicle fleet and oversee all related issues, including repairs and services, in a cost-effective manner.
- Responsible for overseeing inventory management processes.
- Supervise the maintenance, servicing, and repair of company-owned assets.
- Handle premises security management, janitorial services, and courier service administration.
- Lead the planning and organization of corporate events, annual get-togethers, and staff training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
- Ensure the health and safety of staff by taking timely precautionary measures.
- Support to arrange comprehensive Training Needs Assessments (TNA) to identify skill gaps and training requirements across departments or,
- Assists to design, develop, and implement annual training and development plans aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
