Quality Assurance Manager (Direct Imports & Private Label)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee supplier quality management to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards
  • Manage product testing, inspections, and quality evaluations across imported and private label products
  • Conduct and review sensory evaluations to ensure product consistency and quality
  • Ensure packaging and labelling compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines
  • Perform risk assessments and lead issue resolution for quality-related concerns
  • Maintain quality documentation, reporting, and audit records
  • Manage customer complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Collaborate with suppliers, internal teams, and external stakeholders to drive quality improvements
  • Ensure adherence to government regulations, gazette notifications, and compliance requirements
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality standards and processes

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Management, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in FMCG, imports, or private label environments
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance processes
  • Experience in supplier quality management and conducting audits
  • Familiarity with product testing, inspection processes, and sensory evaluation techniques
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and reporting tools)
  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality excellence
