ASSISTANT MANAGER

MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING & COMPLIANCE

We are seeking an Assistant Manager – Management Accounting & Compliance to support key finance functions across management accounting, taxation, reporting, and compliance. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for delivering insights, driving accuracy, and strengthening financial governance.

Role Overview

  • Prepare monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis, performance insights, and actionable recommendations.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and management reporting processes.
  • Monitor financial performance, cost movements, margins, and profitability.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations to support management decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, validate, and interpret financial and operational data.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial information and reporting outputs.
  • Ensure accurate tax accounting, tax compliance, tax returns and timely submissions.
  • Adhere compliance-related activities, including internal controls, regulatory requirements, policy adherence and TIEP documentations.
  • Reviewing processes and strengthening compliance, governance, and reporting standards

Qualifications & Experiences

  • 5-7 years of experience in finance, management accounting, compliance, taxation, audit, or a related function.
  • Part or fully qualified in CA, CIMA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, analysis, and internal controls.
  • Knowledge and experience in tax accounting, tax compliance and all tax returns.
  • Exposure to compliance, governance, audit, or regulatory reporting.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet reporting deadlines.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • Proactive, with the ability to support both finance and compliance functions.
