Maintenance Technician
Location :- Factory (Ekala)
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient operation of machinery and equipment with minimal downtime
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of machinery and equipment
- Monitor machine downtime, idle time, and maintenance KPIs
- Plan and coordinate maintenance schedules
- Ensure availability of spare parts and maintenance resources
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Support continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Assist in equipment installation, modification, and upgrades
- Troubleshoot machinery and equipment issues effectively
Job Requirements
- NVQ Level 4 / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Maintenance Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Technical qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering from a recognized institution will be an added advantage
- Good knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance practices
- Experience with maintenance management systems (CMMS / SAP PM) will be an advantage
- Ability to read technical drawings and troubleshoot equipment issues effectively
