We're Hiring: Area Sales Manager - Southern Province (Male)
Samagi Spice Exports (Pvt) Ltd is a leading Sri Lankan exporter and distributor of premium Ceylon spices, and the proud owner of the SPICEUP brand - a premium spice and wellness label gaining rapid momentum across modern retail channels nationwide.
As we expand our beverage category under the SPICEUP brand, we are looking for an experienced and driven Area Sales Manager to lead our General Trade sales operations across the Southern Province. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving territory growth, managing a field sales team, and strengthening our distribution network.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and volume targets across the Southern Province.
- Develop and manage relationships with distributors, ensuring efficient stock flow, credit control and territory coverage.
- Track team and territory performance against targets, and take corrective action where required.
- Manage area-level sales budgets, trade spend and operational costs effectively.
APPLICANT PROFILE
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in FMCG / Beverage sales, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or area management capacity.
- Strong knowledge of the Southern Province trade network, distributors and retail landscape.
- Proven ability to lead, coach and manage a field sales team to deliver consistent results.
- Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive FMCG environment.
- A Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business Management is preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation and analytical skills, with willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
