MANAGER INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

CIPM is seeking an experienced and dedicated Manager – IT to join our team. This role involves developing and implementing IT strategies, managing IT infrastructure, leading IT projects, ensuring information security in line with industry standards, ensuring timely support and maintenance of systems/software, developing IT governance, and delivering high-quality IT services. The Manager – IT will support CIPM’s mission by leveraging technology to improve efficiency and drive business growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic IT Management:
    • Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with CIPM’s goals.
    • Advise on IT trends and provide solutions to improve business practices and IT governance.
    • Advise the Management on IT requirements of CIPM and proactively suggest improvements.
  • IT Infrastructure Management:
    • Manage the design, maintenance, and support of IT infrastructure.
    • Ensure 99.9% network uptime via network/data service providers and implement information security and disaster recovery plans.
    • Manage virtualized infrastructure using VMware and ensure robust backup and disaster recovery via Veeam.
  • Project Leadership:
    • Lead IT projects, including ERP project related projects.
    • Oversee the sourcing, procuring, selection installation, maintenance of information systems.
  • Financial Management:
    • Prepare and manage the IT budget.
    • Monitor expenses and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Policy Development and Compliance:
    • Develop and maintain IT policies and disaster recovery plans.
    • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards.
  • Service Management:
    • Provide top-notch IT support to end-users of CIPM’s systems.
    • Advise and train the Marketing Team on digital tools and services.
    • Provide administrative support and troubleshooting for the Moodle LMS platform.
  • Vendor and Contractor Management:
    • Manage relationships with IT contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
    • Maintain IT procurement and asset management.
    • Maintain IT vendor data base.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor the IT team.
    • Conduct performance reviews of and provide training to the IT Department Staff.
    • Lead ERP implementation and support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Business Central.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Handle other duties as and when assigned by the Management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 7-10 years of IT management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
  • Experience in developing IT strategies and managing IT infrastructure.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of network management, data security, and disaster recovery.
  • Hands-on experience with VMware virtualization and Veeam backup/disaster recovery solutions.

Remuneration for the above position is negotiated and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
