MODERN TRADE SALES EXECUTIVE

The Sales Executive is responsible for
Drive sales growth by meeting and exceeding monthly and yearly targets in modern trade channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and sustain strong relationships with key retail buyers, category managers, and decision-makers.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute impactful in-store promotions, ensuring optimal product visibility.
- Monitor stock levels, coordinate with supply chain teams, and prevent out-of-stock situations.
- Use sales data to assess performance, identify growth opportunities, and provide regular reports to management.
- Collaborate with merchants and field teams to ensure precise execution of plans.
- Conduct regular visits to outlets, analyzing competitor activities and market trends.
- Prepare insights and recommendations based on sales data to influence business strategies.
- Develop and implement a collection plan for overdue payments, ensuring timely follow-ups and minimizing credit risk.
Candidate Profile
- G.C.E. A/L or equivalent qualification.
- 2-3 years prior experience in Modern Trade or Sales is preferred.
- Experience in FMCG / Consumer goods will be an added advantage.
- Strong selling, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
- Good understanding of primary and secondary sales processes.
- Ability to plan routes efficiently and meet daily call targets.
- Results-driven with strong execution focus.
