POST OF

ASSISTANT MANAGER – BRANDING & DIGITAL MARKETING

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Marketing Leadership
    • Develop and implement branding, digital marketing, and social media strategies aligned with company objectives, including annual marketing plans, campaign calendars, budgets, and performance targets.
  • Team Management
    • Lead and manage the in-house branding and digital marketing team to ensure effective execution of marketing initiatives and departmental objectives.
  • Vendor & Agency Coordination
    • Coordinate and manage external advertising agencies, digital marketing partners, creative agencies, media suppliers, and production vendors to ensure timely and effective campaign execution.
  • Campaign & Content Oversight
    • Manage content planning, campaign coordination, publishing schedules, and digital marketing activities across all company platforms while overseeing execution by the in-house digital marketing team and external service providers.
  • Digital Advertising Accountability
    • Oversee and be accountable for the execution and performance of digital advertising campaigns handled by the Executive – Digital Marketing, including Meta Ads, LinkedIn campaigns, Google Ads, and YouTube promotions.
  • Website & SEO Management
    • Oversea company website management, updates, content coordination, and optimisation to ensure brand consistency, functionality, and user engagement.
    • Coordinate SEO strategies, keyword optimisation, website analytics, and search performance improvements in collaboration with internal teams and external service providers.
  • Corporate Branding Support
    • Ensure brand consistency across all digital, print, event, and corporate communication channels.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting
    • Monitor, analyse, and report on marketing and campaign performance against KPIs, ROI, and business objectives while providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Department Coordination
    • Collaborate with business units and internal departments to support product launches, campaigns, events, exhibitions, and business development initiatives.
  • Events & Activations
    • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of corporate events, exhibitions, activations, and promotional initiatives.
  • Travel & Operational Support
    • Travel within Sri Lanka and overseas when required for content creation, campaign execution, exhibitions, events, and other branding or marketing activities.
  • Any other duties assigned by Management from time to time based on business requirements, or developments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in Digital Marketing, Branding, or Social Media Marketing will be an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of B2B branding and corporate marketing environments,

Experience:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in branding, digital marketing, or corporate communications.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or team management role.
  • Experience in campaign planning, budget management, digital advertising, and brand management.
