Assistant Manager – Finance

Location: Colombo
Field Travel: When required
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare budgets, financial statements, and donor financial reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ensure proper documentation.
- Lead and support the processing of organizational payments.
- Assist in developing organizational and project budgets and financial plans.
- Manage project finances in line with donor requirements and timelines.
- Monitor budgets regularly and report significant variances for timely action.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and manage debtor and creditor monitoring.
- Process and authorize payments within delegated authority.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Contribute to strengthening financial systems, processes, and internal controls.
Qualifications & Experience
- Part qualification in CA / ACCA / CIMA OR a Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in finance or administration
- Experience in development organizations with exposure to donor-funded projects will be an advantage
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Team player with a proactive and problem-solving approach
