VACANCY
IT EXECUTIVE / JUNIOR IT EXECUTIVE
Mercantile Produce Brokers (PVT) Ltd, a leading tea brokering company in Sri Lanka, invites applications from suitable candidates for the position of IT Executive / Junior IT Executive in the IT Department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support company systems, tea brokering-related IT processes, data handling, testing and operational follow-up.
- Assist with data analysis, reporting support, database updates, automation and AI-assisted productivity initiatives.
- Prepare and format reports, presentations, charts, documents and management/client reporting material.
- Support website updates, digital content, graphics and social media-related work.
- Maintain documentation, issue logs, IT asset records and maintenance checklists.
- Provide support for computers, printers, network, internet, email and related IT operations.
- Carry out other IT Department responsibilities assigned from time to time.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Degree / Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent relevant qualifications / certifications.
- Good working knowledge of office applications, analytics and digital tools.
- Ability to learn company systems, handle a varied workload and work carefully with data and time-sensitive processes.
- Knowledge of websites, graphics, social media tools, databases, programming, automation or AI tools will be an added advantage.
- Candidates may be considered at IT Executive or Junior IT Executive level depending on experience and capability.
