Executive - Finance
Location: Galle
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
- Manage general ledger activities and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow monitoring.
- Prepare statutory and management reports while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and facilitate audit processes.
- Prepare tax computations and ensure timely submission of statutory returns.
- Monitor budgets, analyze financial performance, and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and oversee inventory-related accounting transactions.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and internal controls.
- Support management with financial analysis and strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Professional Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Sound knowledge of Sri Lankan Accounting Standards, taxation, and financial regulations.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy.
