Field Executive – Coir Raw Material Sourcing
Location: North Central Province & Southern Province
Company: Pelemix Lanka (Pvt) Ltd
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop reliable raw material suppliers within the assigned region.
- Source quality coir raw materials including husk chips, pith, and husks.
- Inspect and verify material quality to meet company standards.
- Negotiate competitive prices with suppliers.
- Coordinate timely collection and transportation of raw materials.
- Maintain accurate purchase and supplier records using company systems.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in procurement, field operations, agriculture, or the coir industry.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Valid motorcycle or driving license with willingness to travel extensively.
- Fluency in Sinhala and a working knowledge of English.
- Self-motivated, responsible, and results-oriented.
