Staff Officer – Raw material Sourcing
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential suppliers of raw materials.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to optimize cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with production, Planning, and logistics teams to forecast material needs.
- Ensure timely procurement of raw materials to prevent production delays.
- Work with quality assurance teams to ensure sourced materials meet required specifications and regulatory standards.
- Ensure that all sourcing activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements and Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date procurement records, contracts, and reports for audit and reporting purposes.
Basic Qualification and Requirements
- Qualified in G.C.E. Advanced Level and holds professional qualifications relevant to the above position.
- Work experience in sourcing will be considered an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently, perform under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong skills in negotiation, cost analysis, and vendor management.
- Must be prepared to work with a high sense of responsibility and demonstrate flexibility in working hours to achieve set targets.
