Accounts Executive
Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for accuracy and compliance? We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Accounts Executive to join our Finance team and contribute to the organization's financial success.
Requirements:
- Fully or partially completed CA Business Level qualification or a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field from a recognized university or professional institute.
- Minimum 3 years of audit experience.
- At least 1 year of commercial accounting experience will be an added advantage.
- Sound knowledge of taxation and hands-on experience in handling tax-related matters.
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred age: Around 28 years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-on experience working with ERP systems.
- Sound knowledge of internal controls and corporate governance practices.
- Good understanding of Sri Lanka Accounting Standards (SLFRS/LKAS).
- Coordinate effectively with internal and external auditors during audit engagements.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements in a timely and accurate manner.
- Liaise with the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) on tax-related matters.
- Calculate corporate taxes and other statutory taxes, and ensure the accurate and timely submission of tax returns.
