MANAGER - FINANCE (MIS AND ALM)
The job holder is responsible for profitability analysis, support strategic decision-making through insightful MIS, balance sheet analytics, liquidity and interest rate risk monitoring, enhancement of profitability/ALM reporting frameworks and ALCO coordination and ALM system initiatives.
THE JOB
- Review and deliver timely MIS, profitability and performance reports across business segments, products and customers
- Analyse financial performance against budgets, forecasts and historical trends, providing actionable business insights
- Provide analytical support for Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP), product pricing and strategic business initiatives
- Monitor overhead costs and support cost optimisation initiatives
- Coordinate ALCO activities, including meeting management, review of ALCO papers and monitoring of action items
- Support balance sheet management through liquidity, funding, interest rate risk and profitability analysis.
- Provide insightful analysis of key ALM-related indicators to support balance sheet management and strategic decision-making
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support updates to ALCO and ALM policies.
- Lead and coordinate ALM system implementation, including business requirement gathering, testing, data validation and process automation
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting, profitability analysis and ALCO related processes through technology and automation
- Collaborate closely with Treasury, Risk, Finance, IT and Business Units to deliver accurate and reliable management information
- Review executive summaries, dashboards, ALCO packs, and other leadership forums by providing validated MIS inputs and consolidated data, ensuring the timely availability of accurate information for decision making
THE PERSON
- Possess full professional qualification in Finance or Accounting ( CIMA, ACCA, or CFA )
- Qualification related to Statistics will be an added advantage
- Possess more than 7 years in banking or financial services sector
- Strong planning and organizing and interpersonal skills
- Excellent Communication & Presentation Skills
