Accounts Executive
The Job
- Prepare financial accounts for the company and its subsidiaries.
- Manage and monitor weekly and monthly cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity.
- Coordinate with banks and factoring agencies on financing and banking requirements.
- Process salary payments and statutory payments accurately and on time.
- Review and approve sales returns and price adjustments in line with company policies.
- Prepare budget variance analysis and provide recommendations to management.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports and financial performance analysis.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.
- Systematically manage the company's debtor portfolio.
- Process daily journal entries, including banking and accounting journals.
The Person
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a professional qualification in AAT/CA/CIMA.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial principle.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an audit firm or in a trading or manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems.
- Proficiency in MS Office packages.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and integrity.
- Good communication skills.
- Age below 30 year.
