Accounts Executive / Accounts Assistant

Location: No. 281, Digala Road, Keselwatta, Panadura
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Employment Type: Full-Time
Preferred Area: Within 10 KM of Keselwatta, Panadura
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Payment Vouchers with supporting documents
- Plan and process supplier payments on time
- Update customer collections and Collection Receipts
- Record Sales Representative, Direct Sales and DO collections
- Post accounting entries and maintain accurate records in QuickBooks
- Handle Petty Cash, FR Settlements, IOUs and Credit Card Reconciliations
- Manage Post-Dated Cheques and Bank Deposits
- Maintain proper filing of all finance documents
- Prepare simple business letters when required
- Provide additional support to the Cashier when necessary
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years’ accounting experience is preferred.
- Candidates with 2+ years’ accounting experience and good accounting knowledge are also encouraged to apply.
- AAT / Partly Qualified AAT is an advantage.
- Practical QuickBooks experience is essential.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in Supplier Payments, Collections, Petty Cash, Bank Deposits and Reconciliations.
- Ability to prepare basic English business letters.
- Honest, responsible, self-motivated and a strong team player.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Salary Package
- 10+ years’ experience — From Rs. 60,000 (Negotiable based on experience and capability).
- 2+ years’ experience — From Rs. 40,000 (Salary negotiable).
