Role Overview
The Recreation Assistant will report to the Manager – Front Office and support the recreation and wellness initiatives at Cinnamon Velifushi Maldives, ensuring engaging activities and a positive guest experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conduct recreational, sports, fitness, and gym activities for guests.
- Assist guests with gym equipment and provide basic fitness guidance.
- Ensure the gym and recreation areas are clean, safe, and well maintained.
- Organise and support recreational activities, competitions, and wellness programmes.
- Provide friendly and professional service to all guests.
- Follow all health, safety, and resort standards during activities and promptly report any hazards or incidents.
- Perform other duties assigned by the manager.
Qualifications:
- Minimum O/L qualification, and fitness / gym related certification is an advantage.
- Previous experience in a gym, recreation, fitness, or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of fitness exercises and gym equipment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Energetic, friendly, and guest oriented personality.
- Good command of English and physically fit.
