AIRPORT REPRESENTATIVE
JOB SUMMARY:
The Airport Representative is responsible for welcoming and assisting resort guests upon arrival at Velana International Airport, providing a warm and professional first impression, and ensuring a smooth transfer experience to the resort. The role includes coordinating with the seaplane terminal and transfer teams, assisting guests with check-in and baggage arrangements, providing accurate information, and ensuring guests are comfortable and well-informed throughout the airport transfer process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Welcome and greet arriving guests at the airport in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
- Identify and assist resort guests upon arrival and provide a personalized welcome.
- Assist guests with their luggage and direct them to the appropriate transfer area.
- Coordinate with the seaplane terminal and transfer teams, assisting guests with check-in and baggage arrangements, providing accurate information, and ensuring guests are comfortable and well-informed throughout the airport transfer process.
- Assist guests with seaplane check-in, including confirming flight details and directing them to the appropriate check-in counter.
- Ensure guests are aware of seaplane departure times, waiting areas, baggage procedures, and transfer arrangements.
- Coordinate with the seaplane operator regarding flight schedules, delays, changes, and guest movements.
- Assist guests with baggage tagging and ensure luggage is handed over to the appropriate transfer team.
- Keep guests informed about any changes or delays and provide assistance while they wait for their transfer.
- Escort or guide guests to the seaplane terminal and ensure they reach the correct departure area.
- Coordinate with resort representatives and transfer teams to ensure smooth guest movement from the airport to the resort.
- Assist guests with special requests or concerns and provide appropriate support or refer them to the relevant department.
- Maintain professional communication with guests, colleagues, airline staff, and seaplane operators.
- Assist departing guests at the airport when required, including guiding them through the check-in and transfer process.
