Factory Engineer
Jaindi Exports (Pvt) Ltd is a well repu ted large scale coconut based food and beverage products manufacturer & exporter under the brand name econutrena. Primarily based in Sri Lanka, the company offers an expanding & diversified product portfolio ranging from coconut based products a range of organic spices, fruits, Ayurvedic and beverage products to the global market.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the diagnosis of problems and evaluation of necessary service and repairs.
- Adapt in scheduling and planning ,predictive ,preventive and daily maintenance activities and analyzing root cause of Downtime
- Ensuring minimum downtime to ensure smooth operation.
- Knowledge of industrial instrumentation, Calibrations and installation procedures
- Tests and adjusts equipment to meet performance specifications.
- Initiates purchase order for parts and machines.
- Engineering related projects management with respect to time, cost and quality.
- Contractor management, negotiation, supervision and smooth execution of projects with minimum disturbance to the normal operation of the facility.
- Implementing all maintenance actives as per safety & quality standards (BSCI/BRC/ICS/IFS).
Requirements
- Age below 40 years
- Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering
- 5+ years’ experience as an Engineer
- Experience in coconut industry would be added advantage
- Should have a very good communication and team work skills
- Comprehensive knowledge in MS Office packages and Internet/Email
- Preferred candidates who are living close by Dankotuwa area
- Should have ability to work beyond working hours
Prior experience in the FMCG or manufacturing industry will be a definite advantage
