JUNIOR WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR
Plywood House (Pvt.) Ltd is a leading plywood manufacturer, importer, and distributor with over three decades of consistent growth and financial stability.
LOCATION - POLGAHAWELA
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Assistant Warehouse Manager in planning and managing daily operations
- Monitor stock movements and ensure inventory accuracy
- Supervise receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching of goods
- Coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, and Transport for timely order fulfilment
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
- Implement stock control procedures and conduct regular stock counts
- Ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety requirements
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2–3 years' experience in warehouse, logistics or inventory control
- Plywood, timber or building materials experience an advantage
- Sound knowledge of inventory management and warehouse procedures
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word and ERP systems
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Leadership and team coordination ability
- Fluent Sinhala; basic English communication skills
- G.C.E. A/L required; Diploma/Degree in Logistics/SCM an advantage
