ACCOUNTANT – LEISURE SECTOR & GROUP

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team in the following role:
JOB PROFILE
- Understand and align with the Board's strategic perspective and ROI expectations
- Prepare monthly and periodic financial statements with comprehensive analytical reviews
- Advise the Board and Management on financial performance and evolving operational matters
- Represent finance at weekly and monthly executive management review meetings
- Ensure a robust accounting, financial, and operational control environment to safeguard assets and enhance profitability
- Ensure timely compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements
- Oversee internal audit processes and coordinate with external and regulatory auditors
PERSONAL SKILL & PROFILE
- Fully qualified or passed finalist in a recognized accounting body (e.g., CA Sri Lanka, ACCA, CIMA). A bachelor's degree in finance will be an added advantage
- Minimum 7+ years' post-commercial experience in a similar capacity within the leisure or hospitality industry
- Minimum 3+ years' experience in an audit firm (preferably a Big Four firm)
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong leadership, managerial, and administrative skills to lead a finance team
- Ability to manage and oversee the finance functions of multiple properties and business units, with flexibility to travel as required
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., Scinter)
- Age between 30 – 45 years
