Quality Assurance Assistant
Factory Location: BANDARAGAMA
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-process and finished product quality inspections.
- Perform raw material and packaging material quality checks.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO and company quality standards.
- Maintain accurate quality records and inspection reports.
- Assist in identifying quality issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Support internal audits and quality improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with Production, R&D and Warehouse teams to ensure product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- G.C.E. Advanced Level qualification (Science stream preferred).
- Certificate, Diploma or NVQ qualification in Quality Management, Food Science, Chemistry, Industrial Technology or a related discipline will be an added advantage.
- Previous experience in a Quality Assurance role within the manufacturing, cosmetics, pharmaceutical or FMCG industry is preferred.
- Good knowledge of GMP, ISO standards and quality control procedures will be an advantage.
- Basic computer literacy, particularly in MS Office.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to work in a factory environment located in Bandaragama.
