Application Manager – Sports Science / Movement Science
We are seeking a skilled and driven professional with a background in Sports Science, Biomechanics, Strength & Conditioning, Physiotherapy or Biomedical Engineering. This role is designed for an individual who can bridge technical expertise with client engagement, supporting both sales enablement and application delivery. The position focuses on high performance centres, sports teams, hospitals and rehabilitation clinics.
1 PRODUCT EXPERTISE & MARKET ENGAGEMENT
- Develop deep technical understanding of Life Science, EMG, hardware and software solutions
- Demonstrate applications in movement science, sports performance and clinical use cases
- Support sales cycles through technical consultation, solution positioning and contract discussions
2 CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
- Build and maintain strong relationships with practitioners, researchers and clinicians
- Deliver product demonstrations (remote and onsite), onboarding and user training
- Provide ongoing technical support, troubleshooting and application guidance
3 MARKET INSIGHT & CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape and industry advancements
- Work closely with R&D, marketing and customer success teams to relay field insights
- Contribute to product positioning, messaging and go-to-market strategies
4 BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
- Drive revenue growth by achieving assigned targets
- Create technical and educational content for outreach (LinkedIn, workshops, webinars)
- Engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and represent conferences and industry events
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with 2+ years of experience
- Academic background in Sports Science, Biomechanics, Allied Health or related movement sciences
- Strong foundational knowledge of Motion Capture Systems, EMG systems, Force Plates, Isokinetic systems and other instruments used in Sports Science, Biomechanics, Strength & Conditioning, Rehab, etc.
- Experience using or exposure with these instruments is preferred
- Prior experience in technical sales, application support or customer-facing roles is an advantage
REQUIREMENTS
- Willingness to travel domestically
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in English
