Assistant Manager - Information Technology

NDB Securities (Pvt) Ltd, one of Sri Lanka's leading stock broking companies and a member of the NDB Group, is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented professional to join our team as Assistant Manager - Information Technology. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT professional to contribute to the smooth operation, security, and continuous improvement of our technology landscape while supporting the delivery of exceptional financial services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing IT service management activities by coordinating with service providers and internal stakeholders in accordance with the Company's IT policies, information security standards, and best practices.
  • Supporting the administration of the IT function and the Company's information systems.
  • Conducting business analysis activities and preparing the documentation.
  • Monitoring and supporting IT Help Desk operations to ensure timely issue resolution and high service standards.
  • Preparing technical specifications and participating in the evaluation of IT systems, software, hardware, and other technology solutions for procurement.
  • Providing system support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring the smooth operation of business-critical applications.
  • Maintaining Service Level Agreements (SLAs), IT policies, procedures, and other governance documentation.

Candidate Profile

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or an equivalent professional qualification.
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in IT Service Management or an IT operations role.
  • Sound knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems administration, and IT service management best practices.
  • Knowledge of Information Security principles and practices will be a distinct advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities while working effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
