We are seeking a seasoned, vision-driven Head Chef to lead our kitchen, maintain our exceptional standard of excellence, and spearhead our next phase of culinary growth. Ideal Candidate Profile
- Possesses 10 - 15 years of culinary experience.
- Mastery of Sri Lankan Flavors: Deep passion and expertise in authentic Sri Lankan culinary techniques paired with a modern edge.
- Proven background in high-volume, quality-driven restaurants (prior exposure to both Sri Lankan and international culinary operations is highly preferred).
- Complete Kitchen Leadership: Strong team management abilities, capable of inspiring staff, fostering collaboration, and maintaining kitchen discipline under high pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Total Kitchen Operations: Lead, manage, and train all Back-of-House (BOH) team members to ensure seamless daily execution and service flow.
- R&D & Menu Innovations: Continuously develop, test, and introduce innovative dishes while refining food presentation and preserving authentic taste.
- Financial & Cost Control: Accurately perform dish costings, control food waste, manage daily/weekly purchasing, and maintain optimum food cost margins.
- Quality & Hygiene Control: Strictly enforce health, hygiene, and food safety protocols to maintain high standards at all times.
