SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR & QUANTITY SURVEYOR
UK-BASED PROJECT • TWO-MONTH FIXED-TERM ASSIGNMENT
MONTHLY SALARY • SENIOR QS: LKR 350,000 | QUANTITY SURVEYOR: LKR 250,000
Dumeeqs Consultancy (Pvt) Ltd invites experienced quantity surveying professionals to join our Sri Lanka-based delivery team supporting a UK construction project. This short-term assignment is focused on accurate pre-contract measurement and BOQ production to demanding programme dates.
THE ASSIGNMENT
- Detailed measurement in accordance with SMM7 and preparation of unpriced bills of quantities.
- BOQ descriptions, work-section compilation, assumptions and query schedules.
- Review of drawings and specifications, disciplined change control and auditable take-off records.
- Coordination, internal checking and timely incorporation of consolidated review comments.

SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR
MONTHLY SALARY: LKR 350,000
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead assigned BOQ work sections from mobilisation through issue.
- Plan and allocate measurement, monitor progress and coordinate technical queries.
- Review take-offs, descriptions and work-section structure for SMM7 compliance.
- Perform senior QA and resolve review comments before submission.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Recognised qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- Strong recent SMM7 and UK-style BOQ preparation experience.
- Proven pre-contract leadership, review and document-control capability.
QUANTITY SURVEYOR
MONTHLY SALARY: LKR 250,000
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Measure assigned work sections from drawings and specifications.
- Prepare BOQ items and clear descriptions in accordance with SMM7.
- Maintain take-off records, assumptions and technical query schedules.
- Incorporate checking comments and meet agreed production targets.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Recognised qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- Demonstrable BOQ measurement experience and strong SMM7 knowledge.
- Competent in MS Excel and digital take-off or measurement software.
COMMON REQUIREMENTS
- Availability to commit to the full two-month assignment; immediate availability is preferred.
- Excellent written English, attention to detail and ability to work independently to tight deadlines.
- UK project, pre-contract outsourcing or remote collaboration experience will be an advantage.
