SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
BRJW Enterprises (Pvt) Ltd, High Octane Fitness (Pvt) Ltd and its related companies are seeking a highly responsible and experienced Senior Accountant to take full ownership of the group's finance and accounting operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the complete accounting function across multiple companies
- Prepare monthly profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cash-flow reports
- Manage bank reconciliations, payments, receivables and payables
- Oversee daily sales, cash, card and bank-deposit reconciliations
- Coordinate statutory, internal and external audits
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
- Manage budgets, forecasts and management reports
- Strengthen financial controls and prevent errors, leakage and fraud
- Ensure tax, statutory and regulatory compliance
- Lead and supervise the accounts team
- Report directly to senior management
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Part-qualified or fully qualified in CA, ACCA, CIMA or an equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, audits, taxation and internal controls
- Experience managing the complete finance function of a business
- High level of integrity, confidentiality and accountability
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and take responsibility without constant supervision
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Immediate availability will be an advantage
This is a senior, hands-on role for a professional who can bring discipline, accuracy and accountability to the entire finance operation.
