QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Central Expressway Project (CEP-1)
Asset Engineering (Pvt) Ltd, a distinguished CS1-grade and ISO Certified company in Sri Lanka, boasts a rich legacy in the field of Civil Engineering. We hold a pivotal role in major construction endeavors across the nation, with ongoing projects all over the country.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma / Higher Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying.
- Previous experience in road construction projects is essential.
- Experience in expressway, highway, or major road projects will be a strong advantage.
- Sound knowledge of quantity take-offs, BOQs, valuations, variations, and cost control.
- Experience in preparing interim payment applications and subcontractor payments.
- Good knowledge of construction contracts and project documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant QS software.
- Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and review BOQs, estimates, and quantity take-offs.
- Measure and verify quantities for road construction works.
- Monitor project costs, variations, and material usage.
- Prepare interim payment applications and payment certificates.
- Handle subcontractor measurements, valuations, and payments.
- Assist with contract administration and cost control.
- Maintain accurate quantity and cost records for the project.
- Coordinate with site engineers, project management teams, consultants, and subcontractors.
