Kindernothilfe in Sri Lanka partnered with a leading theatre company to implement a unique child participation project to counter violations in child rights.
The project sought to strengthen children's rights by creating safe, child-led creative spaces where children and young people could develop confidence, critical thinking, leadership, and collective action through theatre.
The overall purpose of the evaluation seeks to understand how the Child-Led Theatre Approach functions in practice, how it contributes to change, and which lessons may be relevant for future programming. Further, the evaluation would provide an independent assessment of the project's outcome/ achievements, implementation and contribution to the intended long-term reduction of the violations of the identified child rights.
