ASSISTANT MANAGER PERFORMANCE MARKETING
Full Time, Colombo
We are looking for a commercially driven and digitally capable Assistant Manager for Performance Marketing to strengthen online revenue performance across our hospitality, leisure, adventure, tea, retail, and lifestyle portfolio. The ideal candidate should be analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in hospitality e-commerce, with the ability to identify revenue opportunities and coordinate effectively with internal teams, agencies, developers, and technology partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and optimise websites, booking engines, online stores, and digital sales channels across the Group.
- Drive direct bookings, online sales, conversion, average booking value, and overall digital revenue.
- Maintain accurate rates, inventory, offers, products, content, policies, and availability across all platforms.
- Coordinate with Revenue, Reservations, Sales, Finance, Operations, and external partners on campaigns, pricing, systems, and platform requirements.
- Plan and execute tactical offers, seasonal campaigns, cross-selling initiatives, and other e-commerce promotions.
- Monitor website, booking funnel, campaign, and channel performance, and recommend actions to improve conversion and customer experience.
- Prepare performance reports with clear commercial insights and recommendations.
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, source-market behaviour, and emerging e-commerce technologies.
- Sound knowledge in Google Analytics & tracking conversions.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- A degree or professional qualification in Digital Marketing, Business Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
- 3 – 5 years of relevant hospitality e-commerce, digital sales, online distribution, or revenue-marketing experience.
- Experience managing websites, booking engines, online stores, OTAs, or other digital sales platforms.
- Strong understanding of conversion funnels, customer journeys, online revenue, and commercial optimisation.
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta platforms, tracking tools, and performance reporting.
- Strong analytical, organisational, communication, and project-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Ability to manage multiple brands, stakeholders, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
