FROM SENIOR TO JUNIOR POSITIONS FOR SRI LANKA
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Sales & Marketing Consultant is responsible for generating inquiries, converting them into bookings, providing high quality services to our clients and building Mai Globe Travels reputation amongst the travel agents and individual clientele. We are looking for a responsible, friendly, customer centric, energetic, and passionate candidate with high integrity and global mindset, who will grow with the company. The job position is based in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Market our products to the French speaking markets and build a FIT and B2B client base.
- Convert maximum number of queries into bookings and achieving individual and combined sales targets.
- Manage client inquiries and take full ownership of assigned tours from initial consultation to completion, coordinating with the operations team on quotations, reservations, accommodations, transportation, guides, activities, and other travel arrangements.
- Create new products and programs for Sri Lanka for the French speaking markets.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and business opportunities.
- Develop and execute sales strategies and drive growth.
- Always find ways to improve customer care quality and exceed customer expectations.
- Monthly report to management on sales performance, market insights, and strategies.
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to optimize website content and contribute to blogs, social media content, newsletters, and online/offline publications in French.

REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills in French is a MUST.
- Excellent knowledge of using computers, MS Office & internet.
- At least 1 year work experience in the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and a data-driven approach to sales strategy and performance analysis.
- Online and social media marketing experience is a bonus.
