QC Manager – Printing Industry

Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the complete Quality Control process of the printing production.
- Ensure all printed materials meet required quality standards and customer specifications.
- Inspect and monitor Pre-Press, Printing, Finishing and Packing processes.
- Identify printing defects such as colour variation, registration issues, ink problems, cutting errors and finishing defects.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and maintain QC records and reports.
- Coordinate with Production, Pre-Press and other relevant departments to resolve quality issues.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce production defects and wastage.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and customer requirements.
- Monitor and improve quality control procedures and systems.
- Lead and supervise the QC team and provide necessary training and guidance.
- Handle customer complaints related to product quality and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly quality reports for management.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure continuous improvement of the quality management system.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance in the Printing Industry.
- Good knowledge of Offset Printing and Finishing Processes.
- Strong knowledge of colour matching, print quality and inspection procedures.
- Good leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in a supervisory/managerial QC role.
