Production Shift Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced Production Shift Supervisor to manage variable data printing operations at our Millewa, Horana factory. This is a full-time, shift-based role focused on ensuring smooth production, quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate production activities during the assigned shift.
- Monitor variable data printing operations to ensure high-quality, accurate, and consistent output.
- Oversee printing, finishing, and packaging activities to ensure production schedules are achieved.
- Manage, guide, and train production staff to improve productivity, efficiency, and teamwork.
- Identify and troubleshoot production issues and implement timely solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reduce waste, and increase production efficiency.
- Maintain accurate production records, reports, and relevant documentation.
Key Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in a Production Supervisory role.
- Experience in printing or variable data printing will be an advantage.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Computer literacy, including MS Office.
- Willingness to work on a shift basis
- Close proximity to Horana/ Millewa/ Padukka will be preferred
