Supervisor – Engineering Department

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supervising all maintenance and repairs of the Machines and related equipment in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for executing TPM implementations and minimizing machine downtime.
  • Maintain records of the above equipment, prepare forecasts for preventive maintenance schedules, and coordinate with service providers.
  • Maintain the factory workshop and ensure the quality and timely completion of jobs.
  • Update and maintain all related documents and records for machines and tools.
  • Attend to other related tasks as assigned by the HOD/Engineer.
  • Responsible for the skill matrix, training and development of team members to achieve necessary competency levels.
  • Assist Operations team providing support whenever necessary and efficient handling of team members through continuous team building strategies.

Basic Qualification and Requirements

  • Qualified in G.C.E. A/L and holds a diploma or equivalent qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
  • More than one year experience in a similar category will be additional qualification.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, with hands-on experience in creating engineering drawings and 3D models.
  • Ability to work independently, under pressure and meet required deadlines.
  • Sound knowledge in statistics, excellent communication skills and computer literacy is mandatory.
  • Be prepared to work with a high sense of responsibility and flexibility to achieve set targets.
